Here are some KEY HISTORICAL Agility Events in NJ Area
First Agility Trial in NJ: Bayshore Companion Dog Club, NCDA Show, 1993. Howell, NJ. NCDA was also known as Kramer and was basis for UKC agility. Some of the key people making this happen where Joy Gochman, Jane Kroll, Cathy Thompson, Anne Pritt, Marianne Higgs.
First AKC Trial in NJ and area: Bayshore Companion Dog Club. 1995. East Freehold. NJ.
First AGILITY only Club in area: Northern New Jersey Agility club. Later this club merged with other folks and They formed Skyline Agility Club (NJ/NY)
First USDAA Trial in NJ Area: Keystone Agility Club, 199?
First USDAA Trial in NJ: Leader of the PACK, 200?

Maud, First PBGV with Agility Title / Jennifer King
FC Twyla Twist CDX, MX,MXJ was the first Afghan Hound in history with an MX and MXJ title. (No MACH at that time)/ Diane Bauman
MACH 3 Patriots Piper Cub UDT, “Torville” was the third MACH of any breed and the first MACH American Cocker Spaniel. Torville was also the first NJ Area dog to represent the AKC/US in FCI World Championships / Diane Bauman
Fury, (Karin’s Midnight Fury): First AKC first Afghan Hound to MACH, MACH2, MACH3 and MACH 4. First sight hound to MACH and a rescue dog as well. / Karin Shapiro
Floyd became the first CH MACH IG on 11/7/04.

Celine (Samoyed) is the 1st Samoyed on the East Coast to earn a MACH and only the 2nd CH/MACH in the breed. She is officially: CH. MACH Argent’s Arctice Elegance, UDX, RN, HSAs, AXP, AJP / Gen Deltieure
Stamp (CH MACH Flashback Postmark RN JE) is the first Norfolk Terrier CH/MACH / Sassie Joiris
Julie Nicony’s Rascal was the first cairn to earn an MJP2 as well as an MJP3. She earned the MJP2 on 6/9/2007 and the MJP3 on 10/14/2007.
